# ButterSwap Intro

🍞 ButterSwap is the leading Automatic Market Making (AMM) DEX, Yield Farming, and innovative NFT platform. ButterSwap is dedicated to combine liquidity mining and NFT gaming concepts in blockchain, and provide a one stop DeFi platform for users that is both enjoyable and profitable.

ButterSwap uses fully open-source smart contracts, and implements the full stack of AMM, yield farming system, and NFT system to provide a one-stop DEX, liquidity mining, yield farming and NFT gaming platform for crypto investors. 

BUTTER staking provides a place to earn more BUTTER by staking BUTTER. BUTTER will also be used for community decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). BUTTER holders can vote to decide new token listing, reward reduction, system development, etc.

Currently, ButterSwap supports HECO and BSC. In the near future, OEC, Polygon, ETH and other chains will be supported to seamlessly integrate assets across various chains.

There will be board votings regarding some important system design decisions. The development and testing will be thorough and rigorous, so it will take some time. # FAQ

## Is it safe to use ButterSwap?

Absolutely!

First, every operation related with your crypto assets is carried out via well-tested and deployed smart contracts. There is no way for anything (including ButterSwap developer team) to manipulate your assets.

Second, all smart contract source code is available in the [GitHub repo](https://github.com/butter-swap). Anyone is welcome to review the source code and compare it with the deployed version on the blockchain.

Third, our smart contract source code has been audited independently by the prestigious security company [CertiK](https://www.certik.io/) and [KNOWNSEC](https://www.knownsec.com/). Before our launch, they have helped us tested and improved the security mechanisms. Refer to the [Audit](/audit) page for more details.

## How do I connect to my wallet?

#### Trust Wallet

When you go into the dAPP in the top-right corner you can see the different blockchains available, click on it then choose Heco Chain Mainnet.

#### MetaMask

#### TokenPocket

When you open TokenPocket, in the "Assets" section, in the top-left corner you can see the different wallets on different blockchains available, click on the wallet on Heco Chain.

## Why I can't approve operations?

One possible reason is that you don't have enough HT in your wallet to pay for the gas fee required for the approval operations. Make sure your wallet contains some HT in order to proceed.

## What is the locking period for my assets?

There is no locking period for any of your assets. You may deposit or withdraw at any time. Everything is controlled automatically by the deployed smart contracts. 

## Do I need to register any account to use ButterSwap?

No. All you need is a crypto wallet. Currently, we only support wallets on Heco Chain. As long as you connect your wallet with ButterSwap site, no account registration is needed.

# BUTTER

BUTTER is the platform token for ButterSwap and can only be mined in ButterSwap via LP mining (in Farms) and BUTTER staking (in pools).&#x20;

For fairness considerations, BUTTER will not be minted before genesis mining, hence all investors get an equal chance of getting BUTTER. The first ever BUTTER was minted on 2021-6-16.

# Exchange

ButterSwap is a fully functional and independent DEX (Decentralized Exchange), and $$0.3%$$ transaction fee will be charged for each swap transaction. $$0.25%$$ goes to LP holders and $$0.05%$$ will be used to  burn BUTTER and share with the board.


# Farms

You can add token pairs to liquidity pools in the exchange and obtain the corresponding LP tokens, which then can be used to mine the BUTTER tokens in the Farms section.


# Pools

Pools are places for BUTTER holders to stake and earn.

You can earn BUTTER by staking in the first BUTTER pool, but you need to harvest and compound manually.

You can earn BUTTER without worrying about harvesting and compounding in the [Auto BUTTER Pool](/products/pools/auto-butter-pools), in which the earning are automagically harvested and restaked.

# Auto BUTTER Pool

If you stake BUTTER in the auto BUTTER pool, the earnings will be automagically harvested and restaked (compounded) for you with the help of the auto BUTTER bounty claimers. Whenever a bounty claimer successfully claims the bounty, he is also helping out by activating the auto BUTTER pool’s compounding function for everyone. The bounty is 0.05% of all auto BUTTER pool users pending yield.

With the help of the community, the APR is higher than the manual BUTTER pool. Different from the manual BUTTER pool, staking BUTTER in the auto BUTTER pool does not produce CREAM for you, so there is a tradeoff you need to consider.&#x20;

When you participate in auto BUTTER pool, similar to buying a fund from a bank, you are buying shares of the pool. The amount of shares will not change if you don't stake or unstake. However, the total BUTTER represented by these shares would increase , because the amount of BUTTER per share is continuously increasing with every automagical compounding operation.

2% of your total earning, a.k.a performance fee will be subtracted automatically from each yield harvest. By default, you should stake in the auto BUTTER pool for at least 7 days, and if you want to unstake earlier than that, there would be 0.2% of early withdrawal fee.

Both early withdrawal fee and performance fee will be charged in the form of BUTTER. 50% of these fees will be burned automatically. The remaining 50% will be sent to treasury account for community growth.

### Whitelist Round

A list of whitelisted addresses will be collected during the promotion period of the project by completing a list of tasks and some winners will be able to participate the whitelist round. Each whitelisted address will obtain a maximum quota of 100 USDT with no burning requirement.

### Early Whale Round

The minimum purchase quota in this round is 100 USDT minimum per address. You can burn 20 USDT worth of BSC BUTTER or HBUTTER to obtain 5x quota.

For example, if you burn 500 USDT worth of BSC BUTTER or HBUTTER, you can get 2,500 USDT of quota. You will use the USDT of your quota to buy the launching tokens.

### Early Bird Round

The maximum purchase quota in this round is 100 USDT minimum per address. The ways to obtain quota is the same as the early whale round.

### Launching Procedures

Each project launching starts with an Early Whale Round, followed by an Early Bird Round. After each round, some or all of the tokens will be ready for you to claim, depending on the locking mechanisms of the project. Periodically, we will collaborate with our partners to put precious and limited edition NFTs for auction in our auction market.

You can also auction your BUTTER cards, or your blind boxes, or any NFT assets in the auction market.

You need to set three parameters for your auction:

If anyone places a bid within 5 minutes before the auction is over, the auction end time will be set to be this biding time plus 5 minutes. Every bid within 5 minutes of auction end will trigger this 5 minutes delay.

### Auction Dividend

In order to encourage more users to participate in bidding, we have an auction dividend mechanism. Whenever a bidder place a new bid, the previous bidder (if there is one) would get 20% of the bid difference as auction dividend. For example, if Alice places a bid of 1,000 BUTTER, and Bob places a new bid of 1,100 BUTTER, if Bob's bid succeeds, Alice would get 20% of the bid difference, which is 20 BUTTER in this case.

### Increment

The increment must be no less than 10% of the starting price.

### Auction Fee

The total auction fee is 16% of the total auction income excluding all auction dividends with the following distribution:

We are a fan of hearthstone produced by Blizzard, in which, the card can be divided into four categories based on the quality: common, rare, epic, and legendary. Legendary cards are the most valuable and powerful ones. When you purchase a card pack, you don't know what cards you will get before you open them. We want to move this brilliant idea into blockchain with the help of smart contracts and NFT.

ButterSwap's NFT system is designed to provide both joy and profit to the users. It contains the following major components:

The major circulating token in the NFT system is BUTTER and inside the system, there are multiple scenarios in which BUTTER will be burnt automagically.


# Blind Box

A blind box is an NFT token in ERC721 contract. It can be sent to another address. It can also be opened to become one card randomly.

Blind boxes can be purchased in the store. Some blind boxes will also be given as a reward for some lucky pools, airdropped, or given as a prize for our board members and long supporters.

In HECO, the blind box is purchased with BUTTER. For each blind box sale, 10% will be burnt, 10% goes to ButterSwap treasury for board dividend and community growth, and the remaining 80% goes to NFT reward pool.

In BSC, the blind box is purchased with BNB. For each blind box sale, 15% will be used to buy back BUTTER and burn, 15% goes to ButterSwap treasury for project development and community growth, and the remaining 70% will be used to buy back BUTTER and send to NFT reward pool. Additionally, all BUTTER production of a hidden farm with x1 multiplier will be added to NFT reward pool.

## NFT Cards

Each NFT card is a NFT token in ERC721 contract. A card can be sent to your friend's wallet address or sold in the [Auction Market](/products/nft-auction-market-1.0). It can also be used in  the [Dinner Table](/products/nft/dinner-table), and earn from the NFT reward pool.

For each card, there is a golden version of it. The golden card is much more precious and more powerful than the normal version. Collecting golden cards would be fun.

NFT cards have a property called family. If all cards within a family are collected, the reward energy of all the cards in this family would be boosted in the dinner table.

Some rare cards may have some special effects, such as boosting all cards' reward energy by some percentage, and boosting all farming and staking speed by some percentage.

If you feel that a card is not needed any more, you can recycle it to get some recycle points. Recycle points can automatically deduct BUTTER 1:1 when you buy blind boxes in the future.

Global Aura: if a card has global aura, it will boost all cards' energy of every family in every table by some percentage. The global aura of two same cards does not overlap. However, global aura from different cards can over lap.

# Dinner Table

A series of nice dinner tables are prepared for you, on which there are 20 plates for each table. You can always unlock more plates using BUTTER. For all plate unlock fees, 10% will be burnt, 10% goes to ButterSwap treasury for board dividend and community growth, and the remaining 80% goes to the dinner table pool. In order for a NFT card to take effect, it must be placed in an empty plate. If a card expires, and it is stilled in a plate, all its family bonus effect and aura effect will remain.

# Board

Current ButterSwap board system, board v2, is an upgrade from [board v1](broken://pages/-Mce72RA6wS6gYHqkW-l). It is a mechanism for DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) aiming to make the community decide on important decisions (such as production reduction time, token listing, etc.) and give the BUTTER supporters various rewards and benefits.

## Board level

When we provide benefits to board members, some benefits are for all board members, while some are for high level board members. This will enable us to provide long term supporters with more benefits.

## Entering the board

You need to stake at least $$0.1%$$ of current total BUTTER supply to join board. Once you join, you become board level 0 by default (locking period is 7 days). There will be a button to upgrade board level, in which you can choose to upgrade to level 1, 2 or 3. Once upgraded, there is no way to downgrade.

For each BUTTER you stake in the board, you get a BOARD token and a DAO token. Both BOARD and DAO are free tokens, and they are $$1:1$$ with BUTTER. BOARD tokens are for staking and DAO tokens are for voting. Once you become a board member, unless you quit board, you will stay in board even if your staked BUTTER becomes less than $$0.1%$$ of total BUTTER supply, which increases continuously. So for early board members, the entering threshold is lower than later board members, which is reasonable.

After you enter the board, you can always choose to add more BUTTER to staking. For example, if the board requires 100 BUTTER, and you previously only staked 90 BUTTER, it is perfectly fine for you to stake only 1 BUTTER. Even though 91 BUTTER is still less than the required 100, since you are already a board member, you will continue to be in board.

## Board benefits

### 1. BUTTER Dividend pools

In board v2, you will directly stake BUTTER. So you will not directly get the BUTTER staking profit. However, board v2 smart contract will stake all BUTTER in BUTTER staking on behalf of everyone, and all the profits will be sent to board v2 BUTTER dividend pools periodically opened for all board members.

### 2. Voting

With the freely obtained DAO tokens, board members can vote on important community decisions, such as next production reduction time, tokenomics, activity rules, etc. Since only board members can have DAO tokens, voting is a special privilege for board members to collaboratively improve the whole eco-system.

For each voting topic, you can vote multiple times and change your vote as long as the voting has not ended yet. Only the last voting would count. The number of the voting tickets is always equal to the number of DAO tokens you possess. For example, after you make your vote, you choose to obtain more DAO tokens by staking more BUTTER, your voting tickets increase automatically. Similarly, if you decrease your DAO tokens, so does your voting tickets.

Voting does not cost you any DAO tokens, since your DAO tokens only represent that you have the voting power. After each voting topic, you still have all the DAO tokens and you can always start voting on a new topic with all the DAO tokens you have initially.

### 3. BOARD pools

There will be various BOARD pools available only for board members, and some are exclusively for high level board members. You can stake your BOARD tokens to earn in these pools. These pools include DEX revenue sharing pools, eco-system partner airdrop pools, donation pools, NFT revenue sharing pools, etc. You can choose different pools to participate and stake different amount of BOARD tokens to any of them.

There is no locking period for BOARD pools, and you can always unstake any amount of BOARD tokens at any time.

## Leaving the board

After you enter board, you can choose to add any amount of BUTTER to staking. However, if you want to unstake BUTTER, you have to quit the board and unstake them all at once. You can only quit the board after the chosen locking period and only on Sunday (GMT+8 time). After you quit board, you return all the BOARD and DAO tokens, and get back all your staked BUTTER. After you leave board and when you want to reenter the board, the amount of BUTTER required to be staked will be recalculated based on the total BUTTER supply by then.

Don't transfer or sell any BOARD or DAO tokens. Before you unstake BUTTER, you have to unstake the same amount of BOARD and DAO tokens first. You have to return the same amount of BOARD and DAO in order to unstake the same amount of BUTTER. Since you have to unstake all BUTTER at once when leaving, transferring away very small amount of BOARD or DAO tokens from you wallet may result in permanent failure to quit board. So do not try these strictly forbidden behaviors.

You can stake any number of BOARD tokens to in the Lucky Lucky, pool and your BOARD tokens will be returned in full amount if you leave Lucky Lucky. If you keep the staked BOARD tokens in Lucky Lucky pools without unstaking, you will automatically participate each round of Lucky Lucky.

Winning probability, what we name it ***power***, is determined by both the number of staked BOARD tokens and the staking timing. If you have not staked any BOARD tokens before the current round of Lucky Lucky starts, the initial ***power*** is set to 0. If you have already staked some BOARD tokens before the current round of Lucky Lucky starts, the initial ***power*** is given as follows:

Each time you stake BOARD tokens to Lucky Lucky event, the ***power*** is updated as follows:

# LOBSTER Token: LB

Token name: Lobster Token.

Token symbol: LB.

Total supply: 1,000,000 always and forever, with no token minting functions.

Transfer tax: for each transfer / buy / sell, there is a tax of 15%, so setting slippage to 18% \~ 20% is recommended for successful buying or selling.

* 3% goes to liquidity with LP tokens burnt.
* 6% used for USDT dividends.
* 6% goes to treasury for development and community growth.

Automatic USDT dividend: periodically, the system will distribute USDT dividends to LB holders with at least 10,000 LB.

Token distribution:

1. 20% presale for launch pad, 0.05 USDT / LB, totaling 10,000 USDT.
2. 50% for liquidity.
3. 20% treasury reserved for selling only after LB  price goes above 0.5 USDT. The sales revenue will be used to buy back BUTTER at both HECO and BSC. 50% of the buy-back BUTTER will be burned immediately and 50% sent to NFT reward pool. If price never reaches 0.5 USDT, the treasury will be kept in the code wallet protected vault with no selling.
4. 5% airdrop to the same BSC address of all HECO board members for free based on weighted parameter of board duration and board holdings.
5. 5% for project development. Only permitted to be sold when price goes above 0.5 USDT. Otherwise, no selling.

Price protection mechanism: if LB price drops to below 0.05 USDT, we will buy back up to 250,000 LB (total presale + total board airdrop) and add them to treasury reserved.

Bonus: after 1 month of launching, LB holders with at least 10,000 LB will get an airdrop NFT gift in BSC - Red Lobster.

Liquidity lockup time: 30 days. After the lockup time, all LB obtained from our removed LP will all be burned immediately. User contributed LPs will not be affected.

Launch pad rules:

1. Whitelist Round: top 10 winners and 5 lucky winners will be whitelisted, each with 100 USDT quota. Top 5 HECO board members's BSC addresses (same address) with most staked BUTTER by the time before the launching starts will also be whitelisted. Total quota is 2,000 USDT.

1\. Obtain the HECO wallet address, which can generally be found and copied on the asset details page.

The users can buy or sell digital portfolio products on our platform (Hereinafter referred to as “DAC”). The users must open an account prior to the commencement of the transaction (Purchase and sales), complete the identity authentication, and pre-deposit the digital assets. When buying DAC, the digital assets are needed for payment; the corresponding digital assets may be obtained by the sales of DAC. The users may recharge or withdraw their digital assets, but subject to the limitations of these terms.

The information available on BUTTERSWAP.ME website is only for reference, and users shall make their independent judgments and decisions, and take the decision-making risk alone. The information and content on this website may be changed from time to time and available to you at any time. For the abnormal grading, market disruption, as well as other possible exceptions arising from the system failure, the network, hacker attack by DDos and other accidental factors, **BUTTERSWAP.ME has the right to cancel the results of the abnormal transactions according to actual conditions, and even cancel all the transactions within a certain period of time.**

The handling charge shall be collected for some of the services rendered by BUTTERSWAP.ME. If the user uses the service subject to the handling charge, please abide by the relevant agreement. BUTTERSWAP.ME platform will not ask any user for the password, and will not ask the user to make remittance to any account and btc/eth recharging address not provided in the transaction center of this website; please don’t believe any information on discount and concession of BUTTERSWAP.ME platform, nor make remittance or pay the digital assets to the account and address not provided in the transaction center of this website, an BUTTERSWAP.ME shall take no liability for any loss arising therefrom.

Handling of abnormal transaction: When using this service, the user agrees and acknowledges that this service may not be provided due to the problem in the connection of the digital currency network or the other irresistible factors. The user shall ensure that the information to be entered shall be correct; this website shall take no liability for damage if this website is unable to notify the user of the subsequent handling mod for the relevant transaction due to the occurrence of the aforesaid exceptions caused by the information error.

User agrees that based on the needs of the operation and transaction security, this website may temporarily suspend the provision or limit some functions of this service, or provide the new functions. **III.【Process and risk for transaction of digital asset portfolio】**

**The transaction or holding of the digital asset portfolio is likely to cause the loss to you. Therefore, you should carefully consider whether the digital asset portfolio shall be transacted based on your financial situation.**

1\. BUTTERSWAP.ME cannot guarantee an orderly and stable market for digital assets. You should be cautious in the transaction of the digital assets (and any other assets). The price may fluctuate from time to time. You may be subject to the profit or loss in a large amount due to the price fluctuation. Any digital asset can fluctuate greatly and may even become worthless.

2\. When using this service, if there is any error in user or the user’s transaction instruction (Including but not limited to price, quantity, and other factors), resulting in the loss on the transaction of the user, the user shall take the full liability for such loss.

3\. The user shall assume any loss arising from the user’s fault, including but not limited to the failure to operate according to the transaction tips, the failure to carry out the transaction operation in time, the omission or disclosure of password, the cracking of password, the embezzlement of the user’s mobile phone, and the intrusion to the user’s computer.

4\. When using this service, if the user generates the unjust enrichment due to certain potential bugs not discovered in the website transaction rules, BUTTERSWAP.ME will contact the user to recover, and the user must cooperate effectively; otherwise, BUTTERSWAP.ME will take the resource measures including but not limited to the limitation to the account transaction, freezing of fund in the account, and the lawsuit brought to the competent court. The resource cost incurred to BUTTERSWAP.ME due to the failure of the user to cooperate effectively will be at the user’s account.

**IV.【Creation of account】**

In order to use any service of this website, you must first provide your email and password to register an account and confirm the acceptance of these service terms. After the termination of the service, the user's right to use the BUTTERSWAP.ME service is immediately terminated. In this case, BUTTERSWAP.ME has no obligation to transmit any unprocessed information or uncompleted services to the user or any third party without a direct relationship.

**VI.【User’s obligations】**

1\. The user shall not use this website to endanger the state security, disclosure the state secrets, shall not infringe the national, social, collective and citizen’s legitimate rights and interests, and shall not make use of this website to make, reproduce and spread the following information:

3\. The user is prohibited from using BUTTERSWAP.ME in any form as a place, platform or medium for various illegal activities. Without authorization or permission of BUTTERSWAP.ME, the user shall not engage in any business activities in the name of this website, nor use BUTTERSWAP.ME website as the place, platform or media for commercial activities in any form.

Where the user takes the illegal or criminal act, or BUTTERSWAP.ME has evidence for reasonable doubt on the possible illegal and criminal act taken by the user, BUTTERSWAP.ME has the right to freeze all the accounts owned by the user on this website and to restrict or prohibit the user to use all the functions of this website, and shall have the right to, in accordance with the anti-money laundering laws and regulations and other laws and regulations to take other necessary and reasonable measures. **VIII.【Change, interruption, termination, limitation and freezing of service】**

1\. BUTTERSWAP.ME may change the content of the service, or interrupt, suspend or terminate the service; BUTTERSWAP.ME may also transfer any part or all of the services under this agreement to a third party for operation after notifying you unilaterally. BUTTERSWAP.ME shall take no liability to the user.

2\. In any of the following cases, BUTTERSWAP.ME has the right to interrupt or terminate the service provided to you without notice:

(1) You shall submit authentic information in accordance with the provisions of the law or these terms, but the individual data you provide are not true or inconsistent with the registration information and you fail to provide reasonable proof; 　　\
&#x20;(2) You have violated the relevant laws and regulations or the provisions of this agreement; 　　\
&#x20;(3) According to the requirements of the law or the competent department; 　　\

3\. You can close your account from time to time; however, you are still obligated to fulfill your responsibility for any pending transaction.
